E.H. Pickleball Club is the pickleball community at East Hartford Racquet Club—a year-round indoor home for learning, play, competition, and belonging.
Our purpose
Help people find movement, confidence, and one another.
We believe pickleball can be more than recreation. It can be an easy first step back into activity, a bridge between generations, a place to compete, and a reason to keep showing up for one another.
That is why our club begins with hospitality. We want new players to know where to go, experienced players to find meaningful competition, and every person to feel they contribute to the culture around them.
Meet our leadership
Taylor Heal
Operations Director & Head Pro
Taylor brings more than 20 years of business experience and over a decade of coaching adults and children to E.H. Pickleball Club. A Babson College graduate who has taught more than 2,000 people, he combines thoughtful instruction with the operational leadership needed to create organized, welcoming, and competitive play.
Pickleball gave Taylor renewed purpose through movement and human connection. That experience drives his belief that a club can be more than a place to play—it can help people build confidence, resilience, joy, leadership, kindness, and a genuine sense of belonging.
Who Taylor hopes to serve
Taylor is working to build meaningful opportunities with Special Olympics and for adaptive athletes, kids and families, seniors, people in recovery, people living with Parkinson’s or early-stage dementia, first responders, teachers, and community organizations that believe movement can bring people together.
